New Turret Technology Inserts Pull Tabs & Eliminates Waste
Catbridge has developed a unique tab insertion capability for turret slitter rewinders such as our model 344. This capability eliminates waste and offers significant advantages to converters making high-value products.
In this specialized tabbing process, removable tape is applied to the open web in order to create roll leaders or pull tabs at the start or end of finished rolls. The tape provides strong attachments for fastening narrow slits to cores and tying finished tails, yet it can still be removed without damaging any of the expensive product. Moreover, a unique applicator design with corresponding programming, packaged in an easily accessed and managed system, results in unmatched consistency and quality.
